Hi family! We have had a great week here in Wrocław. I've had some experiences that have really helped me recognize the Holy Ghost.
We are so excited for our friend on baptismal date!! We need to find a pool, though. I called around at a couple of placesand people weren't super nice. We also tried a hotel but we can't reserve it. So prayers that we will find a place would be appreciated!
One of the things I've really noticed is how the Holy Ghost helps us remember things when we need to remember them. For example, we had to drop a person we were teaching this week and we were pretty nervous about ththe meeting, so we kind of role played it beforehand so we could do it delicately. When the lesson actually started I drew a mind blank and panicked for a second but then the words we practiced came back to me.
Also, Sunday was awesome. In the morning we were waiting at the tram stop for our tram to get to church. But the tram never came. So we had to wait for the next tram, and during that time a guy we had met a few weeks ago on a tram, Vova, came to the tram stop with his two kids. They were on their way to church as well! The first time we met Vova was in a tram on the way to Agnieszka's. We had been talking between ourselves about Vova the member and trying to figure out how to change the ending of his name (Vowowi? Vowi? Vowie?) And then I turn to this guy and ask him a Polish question. Turns out he is Ukrainian, not Polish, and we start talking and having a nice good conversation, and what was his name? Vova! So that was really funny. And we met him the second time today! So are praying that we will meet him again.
Second miracle of the day came after church. A lady showed at the chapel and wanted us to pray for her, and so we grabbed Sister Kuchno from the other room and had a meeting. She is probably the humblest Polish person I have met and is sincerely searching for answers from God. We reassured her that she had come to a good place and that that alone was an act of faith and a sign that God is leading her and guiding her.
Today President Kwasiński gave us all chocolate for Women's day.
We went to a soup kitchen on During our time at the soup kitchen I cut garlic for a half hour. It kind of burned my fingers at the end. While cutting the garlic, I got to meet this really cool guy, Mel (I think that's his name???) Who is from Israel.
Love you all!
